Introduction
Oedloor is a vast island continent that has been inhabited for only about 800 years and is the setting of Tear of Fire, a fantasy novel currently in the works. It was colonized by refugees from a distant land, with which neither they nor their descendents have had any contact since. The refugees established the city of Prawahalla, which lies in the valley of the same name, on the shores Sharpfish Bay. In the ensuing centuries, the population spread through the eastern part of the continent. While there is no central authority, and some remote communities have become isolated and developed unique cultures, Prawahalla has remained Oedloor's spritiual center.
